if you didn’t win in the raffle, post a response. Who knows what might happen. A few of us won more than one thing…
i didnt even know there was a raffle
I told you there was a raffle
I didn’t win anything, but that wasn’t the reason for buying a ticket. Im just glad that I could contribute to a good cause. My reward is being able to read and contribute to the posts.
My name would be on that list…
Can someone please see that Paul J. gets my Yater shirt. I wasn’t at the Swaylock’s meeting, but I heard that he donated some beautiful fins and a skateboard. At least let the man get a t-shirt out of it!
hey, i wish i could have been there…does that count???
You can add my name to the non-winner list but like Phil d. said that’s not the reason for buying tickets. I’m more of a giver than a getter and am proud to be a contributor to this web site. Aloha, Kokua
I will put my neck on the line saying that kokua is a very generous person. Years ago when i started to shape shortboards i didnt have the fcs jigs and didnt have the money to order them kokua gave me the jigs instructions and mailed them to the east coast all the way from hawaii. So kokua if you will email me i would appreciate it i have something to mail you.
Kokua - you have a glassing business, right? I won a Paul Jensen Rail Marking Tool that is a fine sculpture on our bookshelf but you might be able to really put it to work. Email me if you’d like it and where to send it. (I think I added a link to an image of it. If not: "http://www.hollowsurfboards.com/tools.htm ")
feel the vibration
Well, I somehow managed to win 3 things in the raffle. Phil D and Paul J, if you get me your mailing addresses I will happily share what I got with the two of you. Aloha…
Keith, I truly appriciate your generosity. Giving and learning is what this site is all about. My donation to the raffle was to throw back a little something. Iam honored that you are willing to share.
kokua’s prizes are sitting in my living room waiting for his next trip to town from haena…bobby allen is coming in tomorrow…do you want me to send em out with him? ambrose in waipouli.
Howzit Austen and pc, Ambrose says i’ve got prizes waiting for me at his place so all is well on this end.I want to thank you 2 for offering to share and it’s good to know that the Aloha Spirit is alive and well on Swaylocks and you guys are always welcome on Kauai. Long live Swaylocks and the underground. Aloha, Kokua
Howzit Ambrose, just hold on to them, I’ll stop by soon and we can talk story about the meeting in Big Sur. Aloha, Kokua
KOKUA -san …Do you think the Ymca camp Naui gas station pumps could dispense SWAYLAHOL? jimmy an i were tumbling arround in the agitator at kauai sands on the mats this morning chewing on the thought trend of a neighborhood meeting of the sway an viting some Haoles from up da mainland whad dya think?
Ambrose, I think that would be a good thing, but first it sounds like they want you on the East coast for some guidence in the ways of zen and the art of surfing. If we can get the Swaylocks crew over here i’ll definitly help put it together, especially since I’m only about 100 yards from the Y.Aloha, Wildog
