Anyone surfed the Philippine Islands?

Born and raised there 'til I was 10 years old but never surfed. Going back after 15 years for a New Year’s family get together. Woot!!!

Just curious if anyone has been there to surf. I can look through the web and travel agencies but would rather get comments from trusted Swaylockers first.

Basically, looking for begginer level spots to teach my wife and good board rentals.

I haven’t been there, but I know of people who have, and had great waves.

The western Pacific is a treasure trove, especially if you have a boat.
