hey JR Ive used a product sold as k glass in oz its a flat weave 5.5oz glass with a slight yellow/green tinge to it. Not as coloured as volan but not really suitable for clear boards as the laps look quite dirty.I have found that it is very strong over the length of the board but is not as impact resistant as 6oz twist weave.I t is half the price of 6oz out here and works quite well as the first layer on the deck but doesn’t wet out as easily as 6oz but all these things considered we may be talking about a different product…
