Anyone use King Mac or Marko blanks? Any good?

Can’t seem to find much info about King Mac online.  Marko blanks seems to be new, anyone use them?

I’ve used Marko foam, specifically the EPS, before. I finish sanded down to 220 if I remember correctly and then painted the foam with acrylic spraypaint. I used RR epoxy and double 4oz on the deck and bottom. Nice and light when it was done, my friend when it was done. Wouldn’t hesistate to recommend it.

Never heard of King Mac though…

i’ve shaped a couple Marko 2 lb EPS… first board was glassed 6+6 and 6 with Resin Research.  2nd was 4+6 and 4. first one is the most durable board i’ve ever owned. 2nd one is proving to me very durable too.

Cool thanks for the info.

Chuck;
I’ve shaped a few of the King Macs here on the west coast.
They are very similar to Bennett foam and are poured at the same
place. I prefer the KM foam to Bennett although I have a few
of the Bennetts left. They couldn’t compete with the larger operations
of Surfblanks & US Blanks so didn’t capture much of the market.
Marko has most of the local molded EPS market in SoCal. From
a one-off standpoint, KM’s are good blanks and the stringers are now
straight. Foam cuts good and you can go fast. They are not as crisp
as Surfblanks but you can make a good deck cut without getting into
soft foam. Their LB Blanks are good too. I like the lighter foams from
Surfblanks (Yellow) for HPSB’s. Hope this helps, just my 2C…
