aps300 problem , slices don't print to scale

Trying to get a fish design to work for a HWS. Got it looking like I think I’d like, volume okay and all. Went to print my slices, and the file is made to exist.

View in Acrobat and the interior slices have no vertical line representing the stringer. Only the first and last slices show a stringer. Doesn’t matter that I set the paper size more than big enough.

Measuring one slice that shows a stringer shows that it is reduced by about 7 percent. Now I have access to a copier with a scale function but shouldn’t have to use this… and want to see stringer on all slices.

Have used search function on Sways and no joy. Anyone encounter and solve this?

TIA

Not sure, but have you seen this plug in for APS 3000 for HWS from the tree to Sea forum - it works really well, creates all the ribs etc.

hey Charlie

I think someone posted a patch over at the tree-to-sea forum to help make fishbones better with the APS software

you might want to check that APS thread out over there…

someone over there actually made a working HWS from old record album covers…

say hello to roy

I had the same exact problem with print outs from aps3000— about a 7% reduction in size. Noticed it after I had spent $15 to print out a template at kinkos and was going to transfer it to hard board. It would be amazing if someone had a fix…
