yes… but its gonna take like 3 hours.
Hey aqua,
Oh dear…3 hours no good!!!
what should i be looking for to get the time down??
Tanning bulbs,
High Output Ballasts. 220 work better but there are suitable 110 ballasts
Ballasts will run 40-60 bucks each for 2 bulbs.
Bulbs are generally free. Here in CA, there is a law where tanning salons can only use like 30% of the life of the bulbs. then they have to trash them. Still VERY usable for a UVBOX. Even spent UV bulbs from Salons work ok.
Should of mentioned Im in Australia so would be great to get any heads up on type of lamps and where available in Oz!!
aqua, with 220 are you talkimg watts?
Same thing, Tanning shops.
You just need to match the power of the bulb to the ballasts. The bulbs say on them the specs. you can just take those specs to your local home store or electrical supplier and get the proper ballasts.
here he have 110 and 220 for outlets basically standard power and specialized high power for things like dryers in houses and air compressors and heavier machinery/ tools.
so Im sure you have a similar type setup.
Guys/aqua
any thoughts on these lamps?

Saltbush,
every tanning salon in the US has a box of used bulbs stashed somewhere on site, Im sure the Aussie ones do too.
whatever they are throwing away will work for you.
they are the right bulbs
they are free.
if they dont have any, they will in less than a month. ask and wait. Or call the next one, not sure what sized town you are in.
