I don’t really care for artwork on my boards. Some color or tint and pinlines, fine. Euros have a different sense of art because, well, they have of a lot art over there. All we can really claim in the USA is the Abstract Expressionists; hence the “abstract” resin swirl first popularized on surfboards of the '50s (and reproduced endlessly ever since).
