Asian made board prices in Australia

I’ve found that the boards that are mean’t too be cheaper because there mass produced in Asia are just as expensive as an Australian shaper in OZ.

Is it because our ‘kind’ goverment taxes surfboards? or is it just clueless retailers?

Cheers!

Josh.

I think it is the retailer… I sometimes see the PU/PE Asian imports for a bit less in one store (like the $600 mark) and then in other stores I see the same model for the same price as a local board.

But save yourself the worry, just go and buy a local shaper’s product
