I’m just wondering why “Swaylocks” doesn’t have an “ignore this user” facility , like the one at surfermag .
I found it very helpful for not having to read certain really annoying people’s posts.
…Any chance of something similar here ?

Actually, I have dreamed of it for a while.
Assuming an SQL DB I can supply the DDL and additional where clause. Just tell me the PK on the “logins” table (i.e., column name and datatype).

I’ve always had mixed feelings about a thing like that. It kind of defeats the concept of “community.” Plus, it may make “conversations” in long threads kind of weird.

i believe in censoring no one but, also know that it is my chioce to listen or read beyond a certian point. if you don’t like something scroll on down to the next characters post
U-huh. Tho it does get a bit painful having to skip past sections in a post.
How do you feel about receiving unwanted PMs or emails? Do you put people to “junk senders” in your mail client?
Because an option is there doesn’t force anyone to use it. And I KNOW there are people who would appreciate it.
Anyway - I think it’s really up to Mike and he’d probably discuss it with the Mods.

Howzit chip, So glad to see you are still around. I just found out how to post and reply last night by downloading the mozilla browzer, that really didn’t go well with me since I have never had problems with internet explorer and now I have to have 2 web browzers just so I can chat with my Sway brothers.
