C’mon Panny, what was your/others impressions of the board. How did it go? Did it float?
It’s like a father waiting for his daughter to come home from her first date…
Sooooo, what happened…
"Did it float? "
yeah , that’s important for me to know , too !
it may just have been our flat surf [or my gigantic musclebound physique] , but…
when I rode it, it seemed , on righthanders, to sink on the right hand nose rail on paddling and bottom turns [hard on a 6-18" wave though , I guess]
…more info needed , please ? …
cheers !
ben
well the surf was great about 4ft lefts and rights. the board went well used the glass fins.It went like a surfboard should. paddles good I only had 2 waves on it then passed it around as I had boards of my own to try . General consesus is good
Excellent mate!!! Good to hear it’s being ridden.
Feraldave will have fun with it I’m sure…
Piccies are good…
Maybe a journal should travel with the board so people can write down their comments and add photos if they want.platty.
Good idea Platty, but…
The journal might not make it with the board to it’s next drop off…seems it happened with the Travel Board.
I’m quite happy if people write their comments on the board with a black permanent marker, who, where, date and comment… Doesn’t need to be big, just leave enough room for the rest of us.
Piccies to be posted on this thread…internet immortality…

Just while we have your attention, can anybody lend the board a padded bag for it’s trip.
It got a friendly ding from Virgin Air even with my super duper pool blanket sheath…
"It got a friendly ding from Virgin Air even with my super duper pool blanket sheath… "
…the IRONY of it all …the board got screwqed by Virgin Air …

ben
[…“virgin air” is run by a rich pommie git , for those wondering ]

sad to hear about the destruction , I had forgotten there was a heavy cyclone or two in the area . I hope no lives were lost ?
take it easy eh John ,

ben
Strawberries were $8.00 a punnet without a cyclone when I was there.
Wati’s coming through your way soon John, strap yourself in mate…
well…
Let’s hope the board gets to feral dave , and the goldie crew, in time for the cyclone to hit kirra , burleigh , lennox ,
…and later , points south ,
for the newcastle sways crew …lucas , ad68, millerJO, stevoshapes , nicco , […I forget who else? …sorry ]

…If it makes it to the Central Coast without a board bag I can lend you an old 7’6 silver bag with a busted zipper. Platty knows how to contact me if you want it.
Wouldn’t be an issue getting it back if you Wozzies could get it to Perth for return…
Thanks for that Bunyip, that would be great…
My satellite server is down, where is it now?..
I’ve still got it will get it to the goldy by easter.
hey , have you ever seen a kombi driver with a suit on ?
Well, you have now . Here’s Hicksy , the ‘Auslocks Board’ shaper, “moderating” from the command vehicle …
…his wife , the kids , and I were all so shocked , we thought we had better record this for posterity .
from now on , you will all address him as ‘Sir Hicksy’.
cheers ,
ben
p.s. - it doesn’t show in the photo , but for a nice added touch of incongruity , he even still had the kids three foamies [coolite surfboards] in the back of the van…
