how far are the wide points moved on your average classic noserider.
going to make myself a new 9’0…not sure what im going to do with dimensions yet.
thinking 9’0 x 18 x 21.5 x 14 x 3 with soft rails and some concave in the nose. i think i might put a good amount of vee off the tail, and then get one of those velzy flex fins that have a ton of rake in them.
Most noseriders have wp right about at center. But you’re looking for a fairly parallel shape over a loooong distance, so moving it one way or another wouldn’t make much difference anyway. If you have a round pin tail, moving it back as much as 12-16" can really be noticeable in turning, but if the hip is too big it can hold the tail off the face of a wave as you walk forward, and eventually the fin will break loose.
