Yep it was scary at 90kpa.
I was waiting for a complete collapse. Problem with me is I always push things till they break.
Lucky the foam is VH grade thats 28 kg m3, so its strong.
I to need a regulator too, 90kpa is way to high.
Can anyone recommend a suitable pressure?

Medical vaccum pumps will last longer if a water seperator is between the pump and suction end. Nothing will ruin a vaccum pump faster then water intrusion into the vanes. Here’s a link to a good piece on maintaining your vaccum pump.

Same each end, Hand shaped EPS stringer. EPS is by far easier foam to shape accurately IMHO.
