Hello,
for my next board (9’1’', 22 1/4, 2 7/8, EPS) i want to use a balsa plywood stringer.
But I’m unsure of the width of the stringer: I have seen the Weber Legend with a 2’’ inch balsa stringer. “Normal” Stringers seem to be in the range of 2/8’‘ to 3/8’'.
So what is an adequate width for a e.g. 5 layer plywood?
My Idea is to go with a 5/8’’ and an unidirectional carbon tape on bottom. Good Idea?
Regards, Andi
