Balsa wood stringers

Other than getting them from Clark Foam, does anyone have a source for balsa wood stringers?

Walker foam, let me know what you are looking for and I can get you a price.

I get truck loads of balsa from Frost hardwoods in San Diego

Probably not bringing up anything you don’t already know, but thought I’d mention it for the sake of anyone who hasn’t pondered such: Stringers were historically put in boards to add rigidity and also evolved as an artform with multiples, angles, offsets, and figure 8s, etc. Redwood was the early day norm, but also cedar and currently basswood is common. Balsa, light in color and density/strength, will add very little visual contrast as a stringer compared to redwood/cedar, but also adds little or no rigidity IF that’s what your’re looking for in a stringer.
