Anyone know who sells them? I want to cover the deck and bottom of a longboard.
Edit: I’m not sure if you can get sheets long and wide enough to cover on side of a longboard at a time. Also can you roll the stuff up and put it into a round tube?

Franks Cane and Rush in Huntington Beach and Certainly Wood have it.
Edit: sorry didnt realize your location… hope that helps though
BambooHardwoods.com sells it in 4 by 8 sheets (1/40 inch). They just roll it up in about an 8 inch 48 inch tube and mail it out. With the bigger sheets you have less waste. Not sure about delivery out of the US, but online, there are dozens of bamboo suppliers. If you run into a deadend, PM me and maybe I can help.
^Thats a good hook up,thanks greg.
Yeah thanks Greg!
I’ve been getting my stuff from an online dealer as well but it has been costing me about $20 more per roll.
NICE ONE!

Dean,
check your PM’s
Here in the Hawaiian Islands I can buy 4x8 at Home Depot for about $25. There is also a supplier in Kahului, Maui who has 4x8 sheets and other assorted bamboo from all over the world. I think he also has access to bamboo veneer. If your Home Depot doesn’t have them they may be ale to order them into their store. Depot has a “master catalogue” at the contractor’s service desk. Conact for “Maui Bamboo” is www.mauibamboo .com. Phone#(808) 244-2299. They will ship. There is also Oceanic Arts, Whittier, Calif. oceanicarts@earhlink.net
Sorry----Just looked at you avatar and realized you were in Auckland. You should be able to come up with a supplier closer to you and save some money. Most of the bamboo I have seen and used comes out of Southeast Asia, Vietnam etc.
Try here Dean

They’re in Paihiatua of all places. I’m trying to call by to pick up some veneer and solid sheets for fins so let me know if you want some.

To be honest, I thought they were quite expensive when I got some prices from them a few months ago.
So I gave it a miss.
I’d love to know what their quality is like, and what price they work out at, keep us posted Dean!
Looking forward to probox info too!
A guy that I work with sells bamboo sheets up to 2mm thick. Very nice look and quality.
Contact www.bamboosk8.com and tell them Dave Falkenau sent you!
