…hello man, my suggestion is: treat every ding as glassing a surfboard. So, you have: lamination, hot coat and finish coat. Plus, you need a flat surface so sometimes you should fill with a paste (and sand it) prior the lamination.
All those things should be stated clear for the guys that are watching.
—regarding those repairs: in the nose repair, more on longboards is better to use more fiberglass; also reinforce all the nose.
After the HC sand you should put the finish coat.
The rail repair is not a repair…it s only resin man. First, you would get rid of all the damaged fiberglass there (those several small hits), then fill, the glassing process.
