Maybe the stuff divers use? Any thoughts?
Aloha , I was in the scuba diving buisness for several years as an instructor/divemaster then as a boat capt. - I know… Big deal, eh? no not to toot my horn …but I found the best defog is simply baby shampoo . Works good and won’t hurt your eyes . The thing is just use a little 2-3 drops but don’t rinse it all out . thats the mistake I’ve seen toe most . People put some defog in and then use the hose on for 30 seconds. Defeats the purpose . At least IMHO … Mahalo to all… Don J.
Howzit Liki, is it a 3M full face respirator mask? Those are not suppose to fog up and if it is fogging I suspect a bad seal where the inside part molds to your face. If you have a good seal the air you are exhaling doesn’t even enter the face plate area. Aloha,Kokua
Oh gee … Duh!! I didn’t know what you were talking about … Respirator mask … Sometimes it is because it is dirty . There can be stuff on there that you can’t see and it causes it to fog . Try cleaning it good . OK to use glass cleaner on it ? … Aloha,Don
Howzit HotCoat, Here's a link to the mask I'm referrring to. Aloha,Kokua
…Spit in it…rub the spit around…then wipe dry.Herb
ps…The Dog is absolutely correct about the seal;unless your like me and overheat easily.
I have that same one- It never fogs up on me. Awsome! -Carl
