Ordered my first blank, glass and RR Epoxy today…can’t wait.
I want my kids to have some input into the board (although my 5.5yr old son reckons he can shape it no bother…kids! ) and i’d quite like to personalise the deck towards the nose with a handprint from both of them. What paint would be best for them to dip their little mits into that won’t bleed into RR Epoxy resin?

I used tempera on a spackled eps blank recently, came out quite well (a touch lighter when on the blank than in the pot, might have needed a bit of black in the mix?). Most importantly you can get the stuff they use in schools so it should be safe. The red I used actually went a bright fluorescent orange when i lammed, I really liked it except for the freelaps which now stick out like a big sore thumb. Oh well… Sealing the paint with acrylic floor varnish after painting is meant to be the way to stop this happening though, think kokua and herb mentioned this somewhere.
We did a board for Rabbit B the old pro, it was a birthday present from wife and kids and we got his kids to walk on the blank with blue and yellow acrylic paint doe's not bleed and looks get and we put glass-on fins on it sides were blue, centre was yellow.
