hi all i would like to know best company to use for surfboard frieght may be buying a board off ebay so seller does not provide service. need a company that would have a box and so forth.
board will be from Melbourne cbd to Canberra.

Seller does not provide service? Like, won't box it for you and take it to a depot? That's painful...
In that case I'm afraid the options are all expensive...I'm talking white-gloves couriers who will pack for you. Look at "Pack and Send".
The thing is, this way you are paying for the shop-fronts, the nice vans and flash website...
Behind the scenes a lot of the courier companies farm out to the same huge warehouse depots where Semi-trailers get loaded, so if you can convince the seller to pack a box for you and take it to a depot, you cut out 6 middlemen.
