Does anyone know the best type of hemp cloth to use when laminating with epoxy and also if it can be hand laminated or should be vacume laminated?
Don’t know gibby,
but if you try a few, with vac bag and hand lamination, let us know the results please!

Hi,
look for some cloth with a regular, even weave (sometimes the fiber diameter chnges and you find thick spots and knots). Vacuum-bagging would be helpful, since natural fibre composites soak lots of resin. As Greh Loehr suggested, put a layer of glass on top of the hemp cloth to make sanding easier.
Hope this helps.
