best way to finish this before lamination?

finished EPS shape got broken on tail when moving it.

Spackle or resin with EPS dust. What I am saying is; Take a chunk of EPS foam(a rail cut or nose/tail cut) and shave dust off of it using a Surform. Mix this dust with lightweight spackle making a slurry. Use the slurry to patch/fill. Sand and reshape with a hard block and sandpaper.
