Hello surfboard makers I just moved to the beach in california and want to surf very big and very fast. I have a dillemma though. I want to be able to do radical tricks on my board, such as the board-jump, but my son wishes to use the board to play in the swimming pool, and I am worried that a hard board would be dangerous for him. Can you do radical tricks like board-jumping as well as possibly the 360 with a soft board, or will it not ride fast enough? The soft board I am considering is made by a surf company called “BZ” and the hard board is made by Bic Pens.
I forgot to add that I will be using the board at least five or six times per month as long as the ocean water remains mostly warm. And the spot I will surf is south California.
Welcome to the Circus. Sounds like an INT “Black Ball Beater” would be what you’re looking for. And, yes I know how big a troll this is.
Remember, if you are going to be a troll, then sooner or later the third Billy Goat will come across the bridge, butt you into the water, and then you’ll turn into a rock. Get your kid a Cooperfish Nosedevil or Mellow Yellow. Super heavy with volan glass. That’s will work great in any concrete swimming pool.
Hey, remember Gene joked about building a concrete surfboard (similar to these concrete canoes?). That’d go well in a concrete pool. Wonder what king of gloss finish he could come up with for these things? Rob Olliges http://members.cox.net/concretecanoe/
