Big Mistake Help!

I built a 6’6" fish. 17.5x22.75x17x3. I intended to use this board for knee to chest high waves. I wanted to build a board mainly for speed and turning ability. Upon installation of the lok box’s I measured the back fins 5" from the stringer and the front edge of the fins 6". I screwed up big time. This is a big difference. I just finished laminating the board. Should I rip the box’s out? Keep the fins the way they are? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Rout it out, reinstall almost the other way around. But I’d set them straight myself, dead straight with the stringer, so you can go fast and down the line.

Reset them DEAD STRAIGHT.

and I thought I was Dylexic :>) Me I measure 100 times cut once) not that big of a deal and plus you live and learn? If it was me. I’d make some fins and glass them puppies on right over those lokbox boxes. some like um set straight I like’m toed in 3/16" or 1/4" . … it’s all good!
