I agree with LeeDD, go wider, not longer. My latest fish is for a guy 190lb and 6’1". It is 6’ long 17 x 212/4 x 17. Tail is 13" tip to tip and bumcrack 6" deep. Thickness is 2 3/4". I built this from a clark 6’9 A, cutting the board from the middle of the blank.
