My lucky week. Found a Bing “Good Karma” under another neighbors crawlspace. Fin is broken but box is sound and there is some repairable damage to the nose. Pics to come tomorrow, but in the meantime, if anyone knows the design’s history please tell.
Sounds like quite a find. My best recollections of the Bing Karma is that it was the shape used by Rolf Aurness at the '68 World Contest in Puerto Rico. The logo is one of my all time favorites. You might want to check out www.classicbingsurfboards.com . The message board there has replies from Bing Copeland himself so you can get the low down straight from the source.
thanks foamdust for that site !!

Right you are foamdust. Posted an inquiry last night and sure enough Mr. Copeland himself responded. Pretty cool.
Pics after its bath. Looks like serial number is 3055. can’t see it in the pics but looks like green tinted rails and a tinted deck patch in the middle.
