Black resin lamination

Hi there! New builder here. I just finished the bottom lam and it came out very nice! The good; pulled the resin in tight, got rid of all the bubbles and drips on the lap. The not so good; I was feeling confident in my glassing skills so I decided to color the lam black. On the bottom of the board, I tried my hardest to get the resin even and smooth, but there are some spots that are a bit higher, and thus darker. Is it possible or advisable to make up a bit of dark lam resin and smooth it out— or should I call it a learning experience and move on to the deck? Thanks in advance
