… We treat every customer the same whether he is Rich Harbour or the first time guy calling from some remote town in North Carolina.

and I’m here as a proof! somwhere in Israel  don’t know how it works with blanks but I had very good experience with FoamEz and Shapers Australia when ordering other shaping stuff. good luck, Lee

You could buy 3 big blocks of foam, put wheels on them, drop a briggs 5 hp engine and put a cheep homemade rack n pinion steering system on the lead block. And you could drive it home.

Hows that for helpful?

p.s, dont forget taillights, seat belts, and helmet. You might even be able to pick up a few passengers to off set the costs, and use as a break system…wear boots

I’m more than happy to ship anywhere, but because of the high cost of shipping, in many cases the shipping cost as much as the blanks. In an effort to save the customer $$$ I have suggested Pau Hana. If this isn’t a good option, then shipping via truck lines is my other only option for long distances. Locals can always either pick up or I can deliver…

A quick update…

Yeah, the little guys and the privateers out here dont have it so good but I understand a little better how the ripples of Clark’s closing are still being felt. A few years ago, ordering blanks was as easy as snaking a sponger.

Now its a little tougher and shipping is an issue.

Pau Hana has stepped up and the blanks they offer along with the shippings costs are absolutely a great deal-no, the BEST deal. So far so good. I still dont have blanks but they will be on the way soon…

Might get those SUP’s shaped and in the water this year.

I hope that companies like Pau stick with it, work out the kinks and continue to support the back yard and garage shapers, it may not be where the money is but its where the soul is.

I learned quite a bit…

Like surfers running companies are like surfers running anything…

If there are waves, you may wait a awhile before something good happens.

Thanks to Ken at Segway for keeping me in the loop and Royce at Pau for doing the best he could.

haha me to and I’m really from some remote town in North Carolina, but I had a great experience getting epoxy and such from FoamEz and would buy my blanks from them too (if shipping wasn’t so much)

I’m not knocking FoamEZ… there are plenty of good experiences mentioned here.

I checked and noticed that Fastenal has a store near Raleigh. For a really good shipping rate on blanks you might check with Pau Hana? Their Fastenal conection is a sweet deal if it applies.

For all you guys in remote places in North Carolina, US Fiberglass distributes Rhyno Foam and US Blanks.

They’re just over the bridge from Kitty Hawk, in their own remote NC town (Currituck). Call them at 252-

491-8535 or em at wrvfactory@earthlink.net . Next time you go to the Outer Banks to surf you can stop off

and buy blanks, resin, cloth, whatever… Or they can ship to you if you like.
