I can process all the data in to one comprensive chart.
Here is a copy in PDF - I can send you the Xcel file if you like?
Since the Clark Closure there as been a lot of concern about Blank Quality both PU and EPS since we are using both now.
Cutting service or any board builder that uses a Cad program can take the Volume Caculator vaule and add it to the form. Sorry I put Shape 3D at the head of the column however this value is available in AKU Shaper or Board Cad Programs. Please don't forget to weight your post CNC cuts.
Send you recorded data and I will post when I require enough information:
Holy Shite! Were going to finally do it? Fricking Norma Rae....band together and call out the demons. This is going to ruffle some feathers.

It doesnt have to be that way at all. Worst case are blanks outside of the accepted density tolerance are sold as either 2nd quality or labeled as the next density tier, or sold as "ultralights" whatever. Each blank can be easily weighed and labeled pre or post stringering, which may take 5-15 seconds. Charge an extra dollar or two per for the extra quality controls.
Things can be done on the shaper builder side as well. As is the case here with Surfding taking the initiative. You can also take initiative privately.
Businesses have a choice: they can be unresonable and emotional, or they can be smart and competitive.
PS - a classic statistical approach for assessing process control and variability is using "Process Capability Index". Its much easier to use than it looks here on wiki. The key is applying it honestly (random sampling) to an actual production run. Fortunately, no blanks need to be destroyed, simple weighing and volume, analyze while they are boxed and shipped out the door or whenever.

The other nice thing is that the sampling rate can be 100%! Meaning you can weigh every blank for the analysis and you can do it easily every day until the end of time.
