blanks model number

What does the H or R etc. mean on a Clark Foam blank? 6’7" R etc.

it indicates who made the original plug for the blank. if memory serves…

R - Rusty

S - Stewart

H - Harbour

W - Wayne Rich

Y - Yater

any others??

that’s cool thanks. I did see an A.

They often denote the shaper of the plug, however it is not written in stone, if you look at the bottom of the Clark catalog page the name of the shaper is there. Most of the A series blanks were shaped by Pat Rawson.

Matthew

6’3"H Hamon, 10’7"H Harbor

some of the letters can be guessed afew like the A - Rawson I guess are just because R - Rusty was already taken. If you look at the clark catalog (can get a pdf from http://www.fiberglasssupply.com) the bottom of each page has the shapers names. After a while you get a feel for which are which.
