I noticed google prohibits using blog space for commercial purposes without written permission - so no one who has a google blog can charge for advertising, without going through google.

Has anyone found this to be an issue? 

I once did advertising for amazon, where I got paid for books purchased through my links.  I didn't feel they were being honest, since they paid at first, then later claimed no books were being purchased through my links.
