bloody micro groms (giving others a bad name)

So today I was surfing my local beachie when i went in to put my leggie somewhat hidden but still easy to indentify on the beach. Like I have done many times before when the surfs smaller then expected and i’m riding a longboard. Then to my shock I watch from the water 3 or 4 groms under 15 playing tugga war with the leggie then putting it in there bag to take.

absoloute idiots… like they would even need a ten foot leggie for their 4’11 trusters anyway. its just lucky localisism and grommet abuse is becoming a thing of the past and i’m a happy person.

rest assured they will recieve dropins if ever seen again at the local pointbreak.

Ironic as it was blow in kids too.

atleast when i went in I observed a 10 year old being taught surfing ettiqete by his farther who both went on to have a blast in the little waves.

so there’s my pointless rant but just thought i’d share as i’m sure many have had simaler expirences.

Just a few quick questions…

What exactly is…

  1. a Leggie?

  2. a beachie?

  3. a blow in kid?

  4. a Tugga war?

.

1.legrope

2.beach break

3.non local

4.australian pulling game

LOL!

Leason learnt? Never call woga woga woga…

Hey Josh…

Time to re-instate the national institution of grommet bashing.

Get some mates or the local boardriders, find the culprits and hoick each one of them onto beachside road signs by the scruff of their shirts. Magnifying glasses, excrement and Rottweilers all have a role here too.

Its for the good of society.

Josh

ahaha!
