Blue board for a Blue Helmet girl.

I just had this one glossed. It was made for a tiny little bit of a woman (she calls herself “shrimp” on shaperoom.net) and it’s the second board I’ve been making for her. If you met her, you’d probably have a hard time guessing what her job is. I was the first to be surprised when she told me: she’s a “Blue Helmet” soldier and she’s been in Lebanon for quite a few months. She just came back home and she will pick up the board within a few days. I hope she enjoys her holidays with it. Here it is:

I printed a custom “Shrimp Model” logo:

Blue flowers printed fabric laminated under glass cloth. Shaped out of a 9’3" Walker and glassed 6+4 top and 6 bottom with a finbox patch.

Hi Balsa,

You could thank her for me for “putting it all on the line.” I hope that makes sense and translates into French some how. Sweet board, too, as usual. Mike

It does make sense, Mike, and it does translate into French, too. Something like “donner tout ce qu’elle a”, I guess, although I’d like Jeffrey or someone else that would be more bi-lingual than I am to confirm…

And thanks, Mike, too.
