Board design program that will read iges files

Malaroo and I have been discussing board designs of late and he has a pile of iges files. Are there any design programs that will read this type of file directly?

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Bob,

do you just want to view them or do you want to convert or edit these files?

I think Boardcad can import STP/STEP so a conversion from iges to step is possible with what i have.

An update - I have created a link with files saved in dxf, stl and igs formats. There are 2 zipped versions as well as unzipped versions.  See: http://home.brisnet.com.au/~bgreen/BoardFiles/

I am looking for a way to open these files in AKU shaper or BoardCAD. The files are:

bob dxf2stl was exported as a dxf file from quicksurf then opened in

PunchviaCAD and not saved in PunchviaCAD but exported as an stl file.

bob igs2stl was exported as an igs file from quicksurf then opened in

PunchviaCAD and not saved in PunchviaCAD but exported as an stl file.

this is what I sent before.

bob igs2viacad2stl was exported as an igs file from quicksurf then

opened in PunchviaCAD and saved in PunchviaCAD as a Punchviacad file

then exported as an stl file.

 

Any advice is appreciated,
