BoardCad questions

How does one toggle between the red, yellow and blue nodes attached to each control point?  I’ve encountered numerous situations where I want to move the blue node but keep highlighting either the red or yellow one!

And is it possible to export a slice to use in a different board?

Thanks in advance,

kirk

I dont know the specifics with Boardcad but they are all similar.

The blue, red, yellow should be points that you can grab and drag.

The problem is that they appear too close together?

Magnify the area/screen.

If that solves your problem, then I also suggest learning one of these programs fully, completely and in an encompassing way

before moving on to use the other competing Surfboard Cad programs.

Read and re-read the help file , twice, three and four times over.

I’m not sure that BoardCad has a voluminous help file, but Shape3d certainly does.

Maybe that should be your start

Shape3d exporting slices and other things between boards is standard fare.

yes, they are points that you can grab and drag.  the problem is that they are stacked on top of each other and i have yet to find a way to toggle through them!  with AKU it’s a no-brainer.

maybe Haavard will chime in here soon…

TAB

SHIFT TAB for back

I can’t remember whether this is enabled in Boardcad, but it’ pretty standard for most programs

Works great in S3d when you are zoomed with the points off screen
