Anyone know if there are prefab bonzer fins made? if not, what are the base length and tip depth of the original fins so i can start laying up glass. thanks!
“original fins”… as in three fin bonzers ?
I think 9"-9 1/2 base by 2 1/2 - 3" depth, from memory …probably need at least four F.C.S plugs per side to hold that base area in !! [I’ll probably go with fin boxes on mine*]
Please let me know how you go / post photos , as * I will be converting a stubbie single fin to a bonzer3 …
cheers !

p.p.s - my runners will be wood core , to match the existing bonzer back fin I made in readiness…
On the weekend at Hicksy’s , I cut the moulded fin box base on my bonzer runners down to F.C.S. tabs .
I now have two wood core F.C.S. tabbed bonzer runners for my 5’11" “prawn” [fish]…
And a matching wod core [fin boxed] fin .

today , however , after getting inspired by the fish riding in “Glass Love” , I rode the prawn with my blue pigmented fibreglass twin keels I made [3 F.C.S. tabs per keel ]…I had a great time !!
