I’m looking to experiment a bit with various concaves, channels, etc. and was curious if there are any resources for 1. Visual guides on placement and how that placement will affect ride. 2. Shaping techniques for achieving these variations for the bottom. I’ve been able to find information and visuals on rails and some decks, but nothing for the bottoms. I know Greg Loher and some of the other die hards preech the ability to do the intricate work on a board that tunes it into the specific conditions, so this is really where I’m trying to head. I know that it’s really all experimentation, but I’m not really made out of money and can’t waste a few dozen blanks with not even a general idea as to what I’m doing.
