Bottoms on these were interesting too .
my calabash cousin Kimo Farm, a couple years younger than his punahou classmate gerry had a custom version of the white swallow on the far right from brewer. concave tail I believe fast as hell, a popular design with owl back then. This is when ButchP and Dickie Delong and Chris Gardner ruled our homebreak Sharkcountry.
I believe owl had him put an air vent with a flap in one version with moon trifin side bites.
I wanted something like that so bad I had iggy make me something similar around 73-74 which was a great board but not the brewer.
Story in the magazine was that RB bought the 5’10" back after selling it he liked it so much .
And it does have a concave tail .
That could have been ad copy for Brewer!

bushman’s version of a flying fishback then
but it wasn’t a Peterson with the channels which I believe Spider had the license to makie in the US at the time
