Political threads will fix this site for sure.
Unfortunately, it seems like the meeting is “rigged” too. Our local tv news was reporting last night that the meeting in Morro Bay this morning won’t have any time for public comment in the schedule. Hopefully, Surfrider & others can force the issue to show the political corruption from our “enviromental” govenor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown.
I am not political, but this is just current news that affects us all. This is a huge issue, starting with coastal access, and encompassing surf-destroying breakwaters and the like.
All the more reason to support and be a member of Surfrider. Although often times forgotten in the midst of issues like oil spills and dirty water; Access is one of the most important legs that Surfrider Foundation stands on. Lowel
What?? “Hopefully, Surfrider and others can force the issue”??? Why be hopeful that someone else will do for you?? Contact your local Chapter and bring it to their attention. Hopeful thoughts won’t do anything.
The signature line of a Surfline (former) forum member used to say:
“Remember Dana Point”
Over 200 people showed up. Room was packed.
Time to renew those Surfrider memberships.
Well they did it, Ousted the one guy that is there for the intent of the commission. There is something very similar going on with the Ca. Fish and Game commission. Moonbeam claims to be a “green” governor but he and the bay area cabal keep forcing their issues on the majority. If Newsome gets elected as governor forget it. Sinking feeling.
