Who was that band? They were great! You know I have been surfing now for years and never actually ever heard any good live surf music. The drummer and the guitar players said they did it for free. They said they drove up from Avila with a generator. That was pretty cool of them. I want to come see them play again, anyone know where they play? Ernie Santa Barbara
The band was Surficide. Some costs were incurred with getting them up there to play. Camp management company was pretty cool about granting permission to have a live surf band. In retrospect, it may have been overkill. Some people may have been expecting more of a wilderness experience. My favorite music was the impromptu acoustic jams that materialized around the campfire at night.
