I have a brand new board that I want to spray paint some art on but I have found that spraying a clear coat over it only last so long. I want to spray on top of the hot coat and under the gloss. I am looking to use Montana gold cans cuz they have the colors I want. Is there a way to do this well?
Lightly sand - spray- gloss - don’t burn through when you sand and don’t ding the board.
A seem less repair to paint it close to never gonna happen. Once your ding it they can have a tendency to chip at the paint because you don’t get the greatest bond.
I’d suggest getting a better clear spray. But it can be don’t either way.
