Can the Future One-Pass Installation Kit WITHOUT Router, be used with any other routers other then the makita? Maybe, and excuse my language, but a harbor freight router which is about the same size?
No. See pic. The shank on the HF is far too short. look at the difference in length from body and Collett between the 2. The blade must rest flush on the collet so you can’t just pull it down to compensate.

for the 1 pass kit, you really need 2 routers otherwise its kind of a hassle.
You can get the routers refurbished for like 70 bucks or see em on ebay all the time 50-75
