So I’ve been lurking around and can’t seem to find any good info on this. This quad I’m making is now going to have a more of a modern shortboard plan shape. Not like the Quad fishes out there like pavel.

What I’m mostly concerned about are the dims for the pod and tail to be able to take advantage of the quad fin set-up. I’m afraid I might be pulling it too tight.

See attached image.

Thanks.

Like 14.5" to 15.5" on the tails works out great…tips like 8.5.Herb

I’ve been so hesitant with this board having never ridden or even touched a quad. What I’m looking for in this board is good floatation, easy paddling, and speed in NJ waist-head high regular swell.

Here’s my planshape dims.

6’6" 13.5 / 21 / 15.5

Bat Tail 8" wide.

Quad fins from Griffin. (not canard fins)

Any thought? (pict attached)

Thanks

Rick
