Are you buying pails or drums? Where are you located? The stuff is sold on all the coasts in drums. Silmar even sells S249A or a similar version to flooring contractors elsewhere. Sluggo
Exactly. Look for alternate industry using Silmar. Composites One is a huge nationwide distributor that recently bought up the supplier I have been using. check them out on the web and see where they have warehouses. Other industries besides surfboards and boat mfr. would be in the building trades, marble/countertops, specialty plumbing fixture molders, truck camper shell molders, small in ground pool and pond molders. All of them use many of the same products a surfboard builder would use. I get free shipping by meeting the truck at a nearby shop that is on a weekly delivery schedule. Good Luck. Tom S.
Composites One sells Silmar on the east coast. They also sell Reichhold (Dion) and Eastman (Mcworter) which both have good surfboard polyesters. They will only want to sell drums. Sluggo
