I was scoping out Fiberglass supply co. And was wondering if anyone has tried to glass their board with carbon fiber. I know its expensive. But i think it would look wicked. Thanks Ron

There was one up here in Santa Cruz. the guy had to keep water on the deck to keep the wax from melting off, and that is in our cold water. Something to keep in mind.
a friend of mine has a beautiful longboard by jed noll that is glassed with carbon fiber. it has a purple-ish hue to it. he claims it’s heavy, but performs as well as any of his other “normal” boards. kirk
