changing clark planner blades

Anyone have any info on changing the blades in my clark foam planner. my blades are really dull and I need to get them replaced.

FoamEZ.com brother. Buy a new set and get your old set sharpened at a local lumber or wood shop.

thanks for the reply but i need to find out how to change them, do instructions come with the blades.

Three bolts on the barrell then two(or three) phillips screws remove the blades. Make sure they are square to the baseplate for even cuts. Hope that helps.

The Hitachi blade setting jig is another handy tool. If you don’t have one, try any place that sells the Hitachi planer. It makes indexing the blades so much easier.
