Aloha , Can I first try to calm some of the shapers here by stating that I have 3 custom shaped boards that I really like a CODA, by Steve Forstall - G&S Magic by Steve Seebold who’s another great shaper and all around good guy . I can’t say anything good about the G&S (Waterlines Co.) glassing but it’s still a really good board and I have a custom Plumeria they did in epoxy from Epoxy Pro. another great board .OK so please don’t beat me up … I bought a McCoy Nuggett . Surftech… sorry . I liked the shape and size and thickness etc. One problem It came with a futures thruster setup . I only saw 1 other nuggett before ordering it and it had the full size single fin setup… Thought they all did . anyhow can anyone please tell me if it would be possible to have a pro install the bigger fin box? I know a lot of you hate these boards but just hope that a few can be understanding and help. I really do not think that these boards are going to be much of a threat to the custom guys for obvious reasons. Thanks in advance to all who can help me with this problem… Mahalo Don J.
No problem.
Gonna cost you about $150 nowadaze.
Any windsurfer repair guy or gal (Eva in Ventura) can handle it.
Actually, might cost you less, since your box is not broken already. OK, plan on about $120.
They gotta route thru the Aussie Pine and install woodies, hopefully posting to the deck and capping.
