When you glass a channel, how do you keep the glass from lifting at the edges?
The same way as described in the archives with poly, brush the channel with some resin, wait until tacky and push the cloth in?
I tried it the first time today and just waited for the resin to set, pushed the glass on the edge again and again…
Thanks
Jasper
It’s important to use a thin, flexible fiberglass.
Stiff cloth does not conform to edges well.
I use the tacky brushed resin method.
Works good.
Don’t have to add a bunch of resin to fill bubbles and add weight.
I’ve also seem spray adhesive used.

May I ask, a thin, flexible glas…
is it 4 ounce or lighter , or should i look for a different weave?
Look for direct sized glass. Fiberglass Hawaii. You’ll need some serrated edged scissors
All the best
