Channels Islands & Burton

Anyone want to take a stab at what sort of board is going to be cooked up because of the sale of Channel Islands assets to Burtons. Feel free to speculate on design, manufacturing… just plain anything. Will I be able to take my surfboard snowboarding? Or will Kelly Slater be riding Channel Islands answer to Surftech/Firewire? It’s all very intriguing I find…

Noboarding!

saw the movie “yes to the no” when the Banff mountain film festival rolled through town…looks like super fun, those guys have a ball…they started making the pads and footstraps in the garage…you just hold the red cord at your waist, feet on the pads…

sorry, nothing to do with burton, just thought these guys were kooky…

Cool! Looks like it would be a lot freer that normal bindings.
