Charity surf lesson for less fortunate children

So I’ve contacted a local foster home about arranging a trip to the beach to have some excited and less fortunate or disabled children take part in a group surf lesson. Aside from a few application obstacles it’s on. My next step is getting ten fun boards and probably twenty low grade youth wetsuits. Not a super cheap ordeal but I’m hoping that a kickstarter will help out. Internationally, if not just nationally, there must be enough dollars to be donated to a cause such as this. My reason for sharing on a site like this is not to attract your funds bc im pretty sure you all live in your parents basement (I do), but to collect input about where and how to get my kickstarter out there. I’ve been off Facebook a bit, but I know there’s lots of groups where I could post a link to the kickstarter to get some attention from compassionate people interested in donating to help the event run. Could be other places besides Facebook as well, just looking for ideas. Thanks guys, the kids and I appreciate it

Contact Best Day Foundation. They do exactly that.

There is an organization in the NW know as “Watm.Current”.  Google I don’t know how to link it.  Good to see what others have done.  Maybe get some advise.  I would think that a local surf shop that does rentals might be able to work something out with you.

Ah man those are two extremely helpful answers thanks guys, swellinfo people just started trolling!
