Yeah I donated a board to an event once to raise money for a youth group that did an outreach in Mexico. It was the only surf related item in a field of art and various collectible items. An aggressive bidding war ensued. The board brought top $$. But the bidder never picked it up nor paid for it. After a couple of weeks I had to retrieve the board from an office. The kids lost out and so did others who were sincerely bidding on it.
Oh and now it’s my favorite board.
